Flying Rods? Has anyone heard of this? It's weird as hell

Apparently they're either some sort of unknown creature, alien probes, or a military experiment that escaped. Possibly fairies or interdimensional beings.
They zip around through the air or rwater, spiraling along at around 300km/hr. The site has the clearest images I've ever seen of them, and video footage as well.
They look like this

I remember seeing a segment on sightings, or something like that, a while ago. pretty cool if it's for real

I remember when I was a child I could see such things in the air. Especially when I was in nature, not in the city. But it could of been only my imagination. They didn't looked exactly like that, they were way too brighter and with an undefined shape, and the colors variated. But then again, who knows?

Look at the other pictures. They dont all look exactly like that. They seem to change shape as they move. I want to know what the hell these things are!

I'm with the 72% on the poll that claim it's a hoax. It's probably something like birds protographed with a long exposure.
If you want to get a REALLY paranoid view of things in the sky, do a Google search on "chemtrails" they're like contrails but "they contain evil chemicals" and they apparently linger longer than "normal" contrails -spooky.

Wouldnt a long exposure leave a blur? Those photos show well defined shapes.
Theres video footage too, although the clips are very short because these things are so fast the camera can only catch a few frames before the rod is gone.
As with UFOs I think there is too much photo/video evidence of this phenomenon to ignore it. I have no idea what these things are, but I do think they're real objects that should be studied.

They're weird things, it's more an intuition than anything else, but to me they have the 'feel' of artifacts produced by the camera.

UFO != 'Alien Spacecraft'. By definition UFO is an Unidentified Flying Object, which is exactly what you are describing here.

I just did, so apparently, yes.
If you ask whether it fits within the rules of this forum, I didn't read anywhere that I wasn't allowed to voice a dissenting opinion, just that I shouldn't ridicule the ideas of others, which I don't think I have in the quoted passage, the chemtrail comment on the other hand could be construed as saying that I believe those guys are paranoid crazies... for which I apologize in advance. (even though that is my idea so don't you dare ridicule it)
but back to these flying rod thingies...

seems like a hoax to me.
I dunno, it would be foolish to say that I do not believe in what I cannot see, but I have never seen these things...and this is the first time ive heard about them.
When i try to think about it, if i saw something of this nature that no one knew about, and I was 100%, I would try my hardest to reveal them...
Seems like a new age hoax, becauase whether you believe it or not the internet is full of lies.
Does anyone know anything else about these? That site didnt have too much to say

I've seen documentaries about them. The highest concentration of them ever caught on camera was by a photographer taking pictures of people bungee jumping into a huge crater in the ground in Mexico.

I've never seen rods, but I do see small orbs, or as I call them "the bubbles," in certain light. No eye doctor has ever been able to explain them, and they're not floaters. I wonder sometimes if they're related to rods.

I see the "bubbles" as you call them too some what opaque with a rainbowie shean to them. They seem to always be dancing and flowing in cool paterns. I have always just thought it was seeing some form of energy. I have seen them at all times of the day even at night before. Its not just when I am tired and I have even tryed eyedrops because I have thought maybe they were just water molicules on my eyes.

That's exactly what they look like! I've noticed they're more concentrated in sunlight, but more "active" at dusk. I've always assumed it was some sort of energy, too, and an intelligent form.
How long have you seen them?

long time, sence I was a little kid. If I focus my eyes half way between me and any object and then relax so I am just stairing at the air I can see them. Looking tword a light sorce helps because they seem to shimmer when hit by light and get the rainbowy look to them. I learned how to look for them like I just described probably when I was around 10. What ever it is water light refractions they are preaty cool to watch sometimes. Give it a try. I do agrea that I see alot more of them in natural light though particularly when I get away from the city a bit.

I see these things too but I'm not sure they're the same thing. They are different shapes. especially thin and long or small and round, but if you move your eyes, they move with you. Some oculist I talked to told me they're projections from the back of the retina and that's why they move when you move your eyes. Which seems to be a viable explanation. Though I tend to think they're something from the air with different densities. Flying rods, as I saw them - if that's what they were - moved pretty quickly.
