It rained hard last night, the high today was 74 and the low was 62(humidity 93% currently). Tomorrow it will be foggy in the morning, sunny with a chance of showers with high 75 and low 48. sat will be sunny. high 62 low 40. I just wanted to know if I should go tomorrow or saturday

i would go tomorow morning definately. if you waited a little longer you may find a little more and they might be a little bigger but keep in mind that there are probably a bunch of other people around you that want to go shrooming, especially on the weekend. try to get out there tomorow morning and hunt with the rising sun.

Well first of all what species are you looking for? Edibles? Actives? What area are you in? It all depends. No matter what I am looking for, I usually go out the day after a good rain and continue to go every day for about 4 days to a week straight, depending on what habitat I'm looking in. In woods, things tend to stay moist much longer, yet areas like lawn and pastures will usually dry out quicker.

Thats the best when the sun is rising. And you can feel the warmth on your face. Good luck with the hunting.

No shit were the sun hits that is the area that will dry up first. Woods have shade pastures and lawns usually do not.

also tmb if you are new to mushroom hunting here are some good tips
the best places to look for cubes are: 1) the treeline all the way around the field 2)in the woods, if the cows are able to go in the woods and you see cow shit in there 3)in patches of tall grass
good luck
