Just thought I would share. This is really important.

the thing that made me switch from coke was the whole dissolving metal thing in it.
That and the fact that i cleaned my bearings for my skateboard, back when i boarded, not with a commercial bearing cleaner, but with COCA COLA. Did a much better job than anything else i could find. Shit is nasssssty.
Now i only drink water and sports drinks, like gatorade.

The only economical way to go about it, is to get those screw of faucet filters by Brita or whomever and fill up 5-8 bottles every day in the morning and keep and drink them throughout the day. It's so hard to do every day. Then, wash the bottles every night and repeat.

Man, seein people in tech support bring cases of pop and polish them all off in one sitting... that was enough to make my drop the brown shit, cold turkey. No more cola for me. I break every once in a while, but can't even finish a can of pepsi.
Today, ironically enough... I got a small coke with my breakky at work. I asked the bitch for 2% milk but said nothing when she gave me a pop. Drank a little and couldn't finish it.
Water's good. I'm always drinking. Gotta make sure you drink properly too, don't wanna get hypotrenemia or anything.

Pretty cool. I drink 3-4 Nalgene containers of water a day. Pop makes me sick as well. A few sips and my stomach feels like it's about to rupture, I don't know how people can suck that garbage down all day--imagine the calories.
The best is fat people at work who ask me why I think they are fat. Said people can always be seen with those huge big gulp 40 oz. things of pop from Dairy Mart--but they can't figure out where the weight is coming from.

I drink a lot of various teas and straight water, usually bottled stuff since the tap water here sucks. There is the occasional juice too. My tea collection is very large. I have a bunch of exotic teas imported from china, japan, etc. Most are just in paper bags and not wrapped in individual tea bags. You can get a special kind of teapot or one of those metal tea holders to brew it. My favorite is called white tip formosa, which is a black tea. Very good and good for the health.

alot of those are just urban legends.
the levels of phosphoric acid in a can of coke aren't even comparable to the acidity of stomach acid.
It may work as a preety effective degreaser/cleaner, but will it dissolve a penny, or even a steak, bones and all?
no.

Alcohol. That liquid lover that lying lady. That light laughter and that loudmouth loser. Oh alcohol you're a lopsided life-choice.
When ape-like men ate fermented grapes off the ground, it was the age of explosion and began the civilization and trade tool development trends. Yes water is great with alcohol. In moderation!

Looks like I need to start drinking A LOT more water than what I have been drinking lately. Does anyone know if Diet Soda such as Diet Sierra Mist counts? It has no sugar, calories, or caffeine.
If that counts then I am somewhere around half of where I should be in terms of water consumption.

Red meat is easy to quit. it's so easy being around free salads all day, I can eat healthy, but don't always. But if I'm going to eat meat, it's turkey or ham. I quit eating most beef. I feel great. Better than before, at least.

There is no replacement for water. Even though it has no sugar, calories, or caffeine.. it's not a replacement. Electrolytes, you should get from eating fruits and vegetables.. don't need gatorade. Water is life. Just because something HAS water in it, does not mean it rehydrates you necessarily. Beer has alcohol, a diuretic, which DRAINS water from your body and dehydrates you. Same with caffeine, salt, fried foods, etc, etc etc.

I also don't understand these "lose weight by losing excess water" diets.. what kind of shit is that? The human body is like 75% water. Dumbasses.
Other facts:
Water also regulates the temperature of the human body, carries nutrients and oxygen to cells, cushions joints, and protects organs and tissues. The human brain is 75% water. Human blood is 83% water and bones are 25% water.

That is why I only drink grain alcohol and rain water.
