Cheap Torch Lighter Okay for Salvia?

My 10X from Shaman's Palace should be here tomorrow. I picked up a $5 windproof lighter from the local walgreens. Its a torch with a thin, 1/2 inch or more blue flame. Will this due? I see some torch lighters online for $20 or more, but I just care if the flame is hot enough.

If it works, it should be all good. I think a more expensive lighter would be because the craftsmanship is better, not because the flame is hotter.
Just don't expect a 5 dollar lighter to become a family heirloom is all.

I'd like to know what uber-bic you guys used, because it's always been inadequate for the salvia sessions myself and friends have gone through. You really do need a torch to get the full effect out of the plant. Anything else is just wasteful... *wags finger*

A regular lighter is just OK.
Its best not to use a gasoline lighter or a match because they have noxious fumes, but a bic lighter is just fine.
Click my link "SALVIA DIVINORUM" and get in the know!
The User Manual there will tell you all you need to know for an effective procedure.
This is just about the most *serious* entheogen out there, it can be very upsetting. Prepare well.

your lighter should be fine, the only problems i've had were with some of the normal lighters, around 70%-80% of the lighters you can pick up anywhere were adequit(argh spelling!) for me.

There's a check spelling feature.
