Sounds like someone was messing with you, I don't see the need to jump to such frightening conclusions
I'd only get worried if the guy started showing up at your house

True, but theres no need to be worried when you have the proper defenses. Guard dog, Gun, alarm system, etc

I think she lives in Canada. I've heard that they're not allowed to defend themselves up there.

Well, I'm sorry to hear about this. Some people have no "kooth".
The boldest I ever got with you was to PM you with an invitation to drop acid on my boat on the Charles river in Boston, all expenses paid, and I never even suggested it would include anything sexual. You were rude enough not to even reply with a "No, thanks". You just ignored me.
I was a bit purturbed that I could make such a generous offer and just get ignored. I thought you had more compassion than that. But anyway, be assured that it wasn't me who called you. I don't have your # and I wouldn't do something so nasty to ANYONE.
I hope you get the apology you're looking for and I hope you feel better soon. I also hope that some day you apologize to me for not politely declining my generous invitation.

tm, you know i love you man, but (all intentions aside) that is kinda creepy. while it was a generous invitation, if i got a pm like that, i wouldn't know what to think about it.

eric, If some female member you were fairly familiar with, from years of reading her posts, PM'd you and invited you to come trip with her on a boat in a beautiful setting and made it clear that that was the only activity intended and offered to pay your travel expenses, wouldn't you at least reply to the PM?

you gotta remember that a girl PM'ing a guy is ALOT different then a guy PM'ing a girl on the internet to meet up and do drugs.

Well, it might be a lot different in the OUTCOME, but should be no different in the level of COURTESY.

I'm not trying to be funny. I'm just saying I deserved a response. I'm a very generous, thoughtful guy. I have taken two Shroomerites out tripping on my boat on two occasions. Bruiser and gdman. No charge, I paid for everything. They each had the time of their lives. I wanted to share that experience with Gillette as well. I deserved to at least be responded to with SOMETHING, like "Dude, that's a very nice gesture, but I don't know you well enough, sorry."
It sucks to be completely ignored when you're just being sincerely generous.
Now, who wants to join me on my boat for the 4th this year at the Boston fireworks show on the Charles river?
I can only take ONE person comfortably, but any Shroomerite who wants to go, just say so. I'll pay for everything.
EDIT:
Of course, assholes who call me a "jerk" need not apply.

TM is not a bad guy, he's really pretty cool, I've tripped with him a couple times. I admit I was a little sketched when he first invited me out, just cause I didn't know him very well, but he's good in my book.

Yeah, he's absolutly right, he did offer to pay for everything, it was a really nice gesture and I didn't say anything, and that was rude and inconsiderate of me.
