Hey, Shroomies!
I've been battling a serious cough and stuff since November. Well, it lead to my fifth lung collapse! This time, I had to have it operated on and have part of it removed. It hurts like a son-of-a-gun, but I won't cry! Hehe!
Anyway, good to see y'all again!

Great to see you Levi7, I was starting to wonder where the hell you'd been at. Sorry to hear you've been sick, especially with a lung collapse and surgery. I;ve been battling a bad lung infection and just general cold now for almost the same amount of time, I just can't shake the shit. Anyways, glad you stopped by, and I hope you feel better very soon!

How does a lung colapse? I've never heard of that. And how do they repair a colapsed lung? Sound painful =\
Question for ya: Do you smoke?
I just had my second case of bronchitis in within the last 3 months, so I'm convinced I need to quit smoking. This time the bronchitis progressed into penumonia. I've been on antibiotics and this is the first time I've felt close to 90% better in 2 weeks.
Get better soon Levi.

DOod Levi you gotta stop smoking man, or at least let up a bit. Its pretty ridiculas that good people, especially people who are at one with psilocybes are waisting away there health smoking cigerettes. Its just not a smart thing to do and not being able to breath clear and just makes this suck ass. This is all coming from someone who has asthma, has had one collapsed lung and used to smoke ciggies. That said, its good to hear from ya man and i hope you are feeling better soon.

take care of yourself levi. i can relate as i am also recovering from a surgery at the moment. hope it didn't screw up your season too bad. mom always said you'd get sick being out in the rain all the time ;)

sucks to here about your lung dude, and thats 5 times is a lot for your lung to collapse!!
hopefully you have some mushrooms saved from last fall, (unlike me) so you can have a few good trips once your lungs heal

Hey, thanks everyone for your thoughts. It's always nice to come to this board and feel at home like this!
OJ, I think they fixed it this time! Hehe, no more breaking plans due to lung problems any more! Thank God!
Looks like alot of you are getting the Bronchitis Demon! Doesn't it suck? I think the worst, most hopeless feeling on earth is not being able to breathe. I think I'd trade both my legs for two good lungs! Seriously! Hope you all get better soon! I also hope that the sickness your feeling is the climax of it all! Get better now! That's the ticket. I suggest seeing the doctor and making him/her fix it right this second, before you end up in the hospital! It could happen very easily and pneumonia is not that rare of an occurance. God bless!

Levi,you have to take care of yourself bro'.The Shroomery just ain't the same without you around.I've been wondering why you haven't been giving us any updates on your mushroom finds.I figured this was your time of the year for pickin'. Get you some rest,you need to give your body time to heal,and if you smoke cigs.,you gotta quit.Do it while you're still young,it doesn't get any easier to quit as you get older,hell I know.I need to lay off of 'em myself ; )

Hey, I'm about healed up, except for alittle muscle pain on the inside of my chest. Percodan, and lots of it(Yep!) takes care of that, though.
Doo, I hardly got out this fall for shrooms. I did find my fair share, but they were all out in a matter of a few weeks.
It's been snowing here this week so I doubt there's any able to be found right now. In February, I'm gonna start scouting out the Pan subbs. Mark my words, I WILL FIND THOSE PAN SUBBS THIS SPRING! Hehe, I hope.

I need to do some scouting for the pan subs this spring. I found a few last year but it was more in the early fall when i was checking for early semilanceata. Mj seems to think this species grows pretty abunatly around here, i think that huge old haypiles are the place to be looking if you want them in any quanity. Its gonna morels for me this spring, i am breaking out of the psilo's for awhile.
