First ever attempt, worried about birthing

Hey everyone,
First off, thank you so much for this marvelous creation of yours. I was very skeptical of your claims of becoming the only knowledge resource someone will need, all proud of my new shinny MMGG and TMC and all... but time made a fool of me and there's no place I'd rather research!! Aside from direct experimentation, of course;)
Which leads me to my point. I inoculated my first generation of jars in mid novemember, then another at the end of decemember. Temperature stability has been a problem, and room temperature can be 63 in my lonely tower, so I've tried different things... heating up a big pot of water in a steel spaghetti pot and wrapping it up in a blanket with the jars still in their boxes worked rather well. Temp never went above 87 and cruised around 84, but again, stability was a problem, having to reheat the water and all... I've finally mananged to get a nice cutless innucbator going http://www.shroomery.org/index.php/par/7961 THANKS!!
So I want to start a new generation in the innubator while I let the cakes finish up... they're nice thick white on the sides but still sketchy at the bottom... not a single pin though, dispite nice damp water levels in the jars and 4 to 8 hours of room lighting through a foggy rubbermaid for a good 10 days now...
I want to get the new generation right and hurry the 2 previous ones into the terrarium to make rooom....
Any thoughts would be GREATLY appreciated

I would say to turn off the light until you birth your cakes, that way you avoid invitro growing, also,if you can, keep your incubating temperature at about 80-84 F. Good luck!
