Yes, There are species lists on the link to the left labeled Foray Findings Reports and Photo Gallery. They have found a lot of mushrooms some or which are good edibles.

Wild edibles grow pretty much all over the continent. There are especially a lot in the northern usa and canada. Some searches on either a search engine or library/book store, should help you know where and when to start.

The internet part. I did a search for mushrooms clubs in Canada, I was curious when he asked the question. There is a kick ass club in Montreal, most of the good stuff on their site is in french though. http://www.mycomontreal.qc.ca/
Most of the mushrooms listed on their species list will probably show up in Ontario also.

Hey on this site it listes Active mushrooms growing New york and they have different ones then Ontario.. why is that when Ontario is pretty much in line with New York ? Could ones found in New York possibly be found in Ontario also ?

I was thinking of Psilocybe caerulipes, Conocybe cyanopus, and Psilocybe semilanceata when the time is right Ill keep my eye out for some of the ones listed in NY maybe Ill see them here since I live in SOuthern Ontario so I am more south then alot of the U.S..sorry It looks like I kind of changed the subject, sorry fez

i live in pickering ontario, near toronto, i have a huge valley near my house with a river, so i think im guna start looking there when it gets warmer.
