WASHINGTON - New Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito split with the court's conservatives Wednesday night, refusing to let Missouri execute a death-row inmate contesting lethal injection.
ADVERTISEMENT Alito, handling his first case, sided with inmate Michael Taylor, who had won a stay from an appeals court earlier in the evening. Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas supported lifting the stay, but Alito joined the remaining five members in turning down Missouri's last-minute request to allow a midnight execution.

Actually, the liberal justices are the ones who act crazy most of the time. They are the ones who voted for "eminent domain" for private companies. Basically, this means that a private company can appeal to a local government to take somebody's house or land to build something (like a store for example). It used to be that only the government could do that.

In recent months Taylor?s attorney has sought to show that the combination of drugs used to execute inmates in Missouri and other states creates an undue risk of pain if improperly administered.

Yeah, I would argue that the "combination of drugs" is not painful enough for this scumbag. Unbelievable. If there was any justice, he would be raped and left for dead.

Maybe a combination of lead and copper would be sufficiently quick and painless? An acute administration.

Oxygen is definatly a safe chemical! Maybe a 60mL syringe filled with O2 would help him out. I hear that oxygenated blood is better for your brain.

"Taylor was convicted of Raping and Killing a white 15-year-old girl, who was waiting for a school bus when he and an accomplice kidnapped her in 1989. Taylor pleaded guilty and said he was high on crack cocaine at the time.
Taylor's legal team had pursued two challenges ? claiming that lethal injection is cruel and unusual punishment and that his constitutional rights were violated by a system tilted against black defendants.'
Unbelievable

I retract my earlier comment about using the lead-injection system and now propose to use the "tall tree, short rope" method of execution for this guy. Perhaps a public flogging for his lawyer.

He did it because the guy responsible for the rape is actually one of our reptilian neocon overlords, unbeknownst to the other conservative justices. No need to worry, he still has America's worst interests at heart -- your world view is safely in tact.

Why do you feel allowing such a monster to live is not siding with "crazy retards"?

Are you going to bother to answer any of the questions posed to you here?
