Extremely Resilient Spores... what now?

This surprised me and seems like a good lesson regarding contams as well... Two days ago, I was doing various pressure cooker related things and threw some empty syringes into boiling water for 10 mins. (I get the water to a boil first, then put in the jars)
Then, I drew boiling water into the syringes, twice each. Now, wouldn't this kill off any contams and or residual spores? What I'm seeing in one of the syringes says "NO."

This is a pic I just shot. That sure does look like myc in there. These were never used for LC so I'm sure there isn't residual, dead myc floating around in the syringe. I have some wbs jars ready so I'm going to shoot it tonight, unless someone knows why I shouldn't-

Dude! You got yourself an LC. The spores germinated inside the syringe..that's what it looks like to me.

that might be hard water deposits.

Never would have thought the spores could survive that, but I think you're right. I have several LCs to compare to and this looks like myc to me.
Like I said in my original post, a good lesson about contams here too... must, must, must use sterile procedures for success. 1/2 assed=contam.

Fungi spores can't survive a ten minute boil. They can't even stand pasteurization temperatures. If spores have germinated in the syringe, they arrived after the boil. RR

RR: After the initial amazement passed, I realized a more plausable explanation is that the spores germed after the syringe was first made, and the myc in there now was left in the syringe from that. When I drew more hot water into the syringe, it loosened up the residual myc, which is now dead from the boil.
Nonetheless, I shot it into an LC jar just to see. I shot several other jars last night too, so once they're doing well I'll declare the mystery myc dead if it hasn't grown.

Once I got a syringe with a little myc in it already.
