I would have to say Power, Freedom & Grace, a book by Deepak Chopra,a beautifully articulated, spiritual odyssey with words that will linger long after you have completed the book.

If you had somebody you wanted to get into psychedelics (in a spiritual way, not purely recreational), what book/article/etc would you have them read to help them to understand what is possible with psychedelic drugs?  The person I have in mind is well versed in a variety of spiritual matters but has never tried psychedelics and I would really like to introduce them to her.  The best thing I can think of is Doors of Perception by Aldous Huxley but I'm sure there are plenty of others out there.  Any opinions?  Thanks.

Vegetarianism and meditation and no drugs will do that to you.

BTW, have you seen Deepsix Chopra lately? He is a fucking whale. Perhaps he needs to read one of his own books on healthy eating...

Actually I think RD was stoned out of his gourd on medical pot. He mentioned it and then went on to tell all his old stories about his "master" and kept losing track of what he was saying. He had nothing of any import to say and my girl looked over at me with this "why the fuck did you bring me here from my nice warm house to listen to an idiot." Then we left.
