Well if anyone wants to help Newt moderate this forum please make yourselves known in this thread.
Basicly all I want to know is:
1. How long you've been at the Shroomery
2. Why you feel you would be a good moderator
3. How often you check the boards
4. Why sharks don't have frikkin lazer beams on their heads
And of course anything else you may want to share with us.

i'd do it...
1. 8 months
2. i like mushrooms  (also refer to #3)
3. quite often
4. i'd imagine sharks don't have frikkin lazer beams on dey heads because they would take over the world and we can't let that happen.

1. 1 year and 6 months.
2. Oh come on, you must have seen me post the chemical supply policy here a few times in threads where someone's violated the policy. In essence, though I've never enforced like a mod can enforce, I've carried the spirit of the policies.
3. Every day (please don't tell anyone).
4. Water refracts laser beams, rending it useless.

1. I've been here for. . . I don't know, a long time. Almost 2 years.
2. I think i'd be a good moderator because I usually have nothing better to do with my time, and if I don't, I will fess up and pass the crown unquestionably.
3. Every day, random hours throughout the day, usually between 1am and 8am.
4. Because god made sharks, and man made "lazer beams". Man is evil.

1. I haven't been here very long, a few months, but on a message board related to shrooms time really isn't very important ;)
2. I'd make a good moderater because not only can I handle tough situations, I can handle them with humour. Most are envious of my cunning wit, aren't you?
3. I check the board at least twice a day, naturally if I was a mod that number would increase.
4. Sharks SHOULD have frikkin laser beams attached to their head! They too deserve a hot meal. Someone earlier said "man made lazer beams" were evil, well a COLD MEAL IS EVIL TOO SO BACK OFF! unless it's salad or something...or ice cream, then it's just dandy!

1. Oh, 3 months almost to the day.
2. Why would I make a good moderator? One, I don't tolerate people starting shit without good cause. Two - I've been an "enforcer" (not a moderator, but an upright citizen) before in several online communities, making people feel really stupid when they say something dumb. Three - I have good ideas for tripping people, ya?
3. I check this board whenever I'm in front of a computer, at school or at home. At least once a day, for a good hour or so.
4. If sharks had laser beams on their head, sharks would be extinct man! Just imagine I'm a shark, I'm swimming around, going to work, make a left turn, bam! I just sliced some other shark in half. Oh sorry auntie, at least your in heaven now. Oh wait, sharks go to hell, dont they?

1. I've been here about a year.
2. I usually end up playing the part of moderator in real life, anyway, so why not here? I enjoy that kind of thing.
3. I check the boards at least once a day. Usually I check in the morning before I go to class, again when I come home from class, and again before I go to bed.
4. Why? Well who said they didn't? Hell, I was on the moon once, and I saw a great white with a frikkin lazer beam the size of an Oldsmobile Caprice. Damned thing near took my legs off.

1. I've been a registered user for close to 18 months, but i've lurked for a little over two years
2. I like to believe that I'm a sensible individual. Moderating (trip tips forum especially) is basically exercising common sense.
3. I check the boards at least twice a day (before and after classes). I lurk around during the evenings quite extensively, as well.
4. Cause monkeys do. Only one animal can be king of the jungle, Thor.

1. Since it was hosted by Lycaeum. (went by another_dimension when Ythan and Aphex ran the boards)
2. I done too many drugs, and my mother thinks I'm special.

1) I don't particularly remember. I do remember getting my registration confirmation email thingy from Aphex. Probably two years.
2) I think I would be a good moderator because this is the only board I ever visit, ever, and so I could devote all of my precious energies to moderating. Plus I have no life.
3) I check the boards every day, often from my boring, life-sucking job.
4) I thought they did...
5) I have ADD, just like Newt ;)

2. I spend a lot of idle time on the shroomery
3. everytime i get on-line... multiple times daily/nightly
4. there really is no point
as far as i can figure, i have the highest post count for the shortest time span... i have a total dedication to this place, i enjoy spending time here more than i enjoy spending time with my 'real' friends (excluding sommer, of course)
i never have anything important to say, so i need something to do while i'm here...

2)cause im the greatest and because they are shutting down myco-elite and that means im just going to be the nobody that evrybody doesnt know
3)before i was on an average of 6 hours a day but i just check in the morning before school and at night after work or for a shorter answer twice daily
4)i dont know thats a pretty good one
5)i drink generic soda (which is wost than water but it has sugar which is vital to my diet) so you must feel sorry for me and elect me as the number one moderator of trip tips
