Window of Opportunity
    #524008 - 01/18/02 01:21 AM (17 years, 4 days ago)

Once a cake has been birthed is there a "window of opportunity" for the cakes to produce before they stall and give up.If a cake has been birthed in an aquarium with low heat and humidity(70f/70%) will it affect the cake beyond repair before the heat and humidity problem can be solved. My friend has some cakes that have just done nothing for 3-4 weeks now.I dunked 1 of them in the jar it came out of for 24 hours to see what would happen and nothing.Would everyone say that it's easier to keep a new cake moist w/ proper heat and humidity from the getgo than trying to rehydrate a dry one.I hope i made some sense and thank everyone for your responses.Peace
