How long will the myc keep in the fridge?
-------------------- Did he dream about dragons? Did he dream about deer? Did he whisper he names of friends who were near? What songs did they play, and how far away? Why did he whisper, why did she scream? What does the sound of a screen door mean? Who talks on the hill? Who goes to the cellar, can you feel the chill? Where does the river, when will the wind? How far are the mountains? Where do they end? Why would the church? Did the service begin? Tell me who died, and tell me who cried. Help me hide in the skin of a deer, my zippered-up bag in the mouth of a stag so swiftly I go through rows of does, it flows, it flows, it flows, it flows all over the hill where the green grass grows.

Some people have it out for almost a year and it's still good. I don't know how long it will last in the fridge but from this, probably one year.
-------------------- "To feel today what one felt yesterday isn't to feel - it's to remember today what was felt yesterday, to be today's living corpse of what yesterday was lived and lost." Fernando Pessoa "When one creates phantoms for oneself, one puts vampires into the world, and one must nourish these children of a voluntary nightmare with one's blood, one's life, one's intelligence, and one's reason, without ever satisfying them." Eliphas Levi "The joy of life consists in the exercise of one's energies, continual growth, constant change, the enjoyment of every new experience. To stop means simply to die. The eternal mistake of mankind is to set up an attainable ideal." Aleister Crowley "The Universe is an artistic catharsis." Artifex Infinitum

Gonna try this. one question, Should one wipe (Possibly with alcohol wipe) the jar lid around the vent hole area after shaking? seems like a small amount of homey water on the lid, under the foil, where all the FAE is happening could breed contams. Hard for me to put into words. Am i just being paranoid?

You can't really tell anything by looking, you'll need to shoot a test jar.

Only just TODAY did I show first myc on my first BRF cakes, but I'm already waiting for my first LC (based on this glorious thread) to cool overnight!!!!!
Thanks for this great and very easy tek!
PS: I also have my home built magnetic stir plate ready to rock and my LC jars are all sporting diy magnetic stir sticks!
God I love the Shroomery.
