He putt it on a flash light with a PS3 behind it. Mine is frozen in time. I siliconed my top hole so it would heal but I didn't think to add any tyvek with micro tape. I hope its not too late to fix it.

OK. I'm going to make a step by step pic tek to go with yours, I'm going to do a tyvek+micro pore tape and the other side silicon. My friend gave me some new spores so one jar will be Z strain and the other will be Hawaiian.
two 250ml jars.. with as you use a table spoon, witch is 14ml.
I have herd that you use 4ml per every 100ml is good, but 14 worked really well for you, so thats what im going to do.
I should start on Monday, and have my finished jars posted.

So I followed this method precisely 2.5 days ago and there's no real growth, it looks pretty much the same 8 hours after inoculation. The water is murky, hard to see through, and there's little black hairy things floating around, very few and very tiny, i think they're spores. I used 2cc solution. And there's little almost translucent white strands at the bottom, which is probably mycelium, but there's no growth at all. I don't need FAE do I? The jar with the hole in it is covered with foil, and covered with plastic wrap.

Take the plastic wrap off... and it takes mroe than 2.5 days for results, depending on temps etc. Wait a week at least before you start to right anything off....

Wicked proceedure I must say I used this technique for my Z-strain from a member on here. Though one puzzling thing, I consistantly hear of people starting to see rhizomorphic strands after 2 days, though for me so far it is only after 10 days I start to see growth and usually only on one or two spots of the jars.
Could this be not enough nutrients in the jars? Or the spores were getting on when handed to me? (they were hanging around a room for a few months when I got them)
Thanks for the tek btw!

My imaginary friend has a 1 liter jar with approx 3-4 tbsp. honey cooling in the pot right now. It will be his first LC, He will be using it for his first grow hopefully within the next week. He'll knock it up with a B+ spore print tomorrow.
This is the best LC TEK he has read.

It's just like the story of the grasshopper and the octopus. All year long, the grasshopper kept burying acorns for winter, while the octopus mooched off his girlfriend and watched TV. But then the winter came, and the grasshopper died, and the octopus ate all his acorns. Also he got a race car. Is any of this getting through to you?
