I think that honey doubles as an anti-microbial to some degree here, but perhaps there's not enough in the water to have too much of an effect.
I've had a little jar of some honey LC prepared, thanks to this tek, almost 2 years ago that was refrigerated the first ~7 months, then was just in a frigid basement for 3 months, and now has been in a closet since then.. As of 3-4 months ago, to my households astonishment, it had finished colonizing WBS and successfully spawned and fruited
I have literally seen TCs refuse to answer legitimate questions because they can't look at the screen due to avatars like yours. Although, it reminds of the Garden of Cosmic Speculation.

I thought you needed a PC for agar, so I did LCs in the past, namely this tek. Out of all half dozen or so that I made, 5 of them were rocket fuel for my jars. One did absolutely nothing. None contaminated, and I had great results. I grew my weed shrooms using MS LC from this tek.

Generally, I don't think so. There are 300 species of it, and I can eat the fuck out of blue cheese. I think it has to be one of the antibiotic forms.

instead of using micropore tape for your LC, you can sacrifice a pillow for its sweet polyfill stuffing. my lc is filtered with dogbed stuffing because my lab-pointer chewed her bed to shreds, and that shit is way too expensive at Michael's.

punch a 1/2" hole in the middle of a jar lid, take a small pinch of polyfill, fold it over once, then stuff the folded side into the hole.

It will work, but syrup is mostly sucrose, with only traces of glucose. Mushrooms love glucose the most of the simple sugars. so it might work, but might not be "ideal"

its extremely difficult to cultivate. its practically impossible indoors. the route with the best chances is to make wooden plugs and use the plugs to inoculate logs outdoors. the mycelium is extremely weak.

He wants to squirt LC over a mono.
The only application where that would work is a bottle tek, however our bottle tek author has deleted his method so I can't link...

wowimflabbergasted said: LOL yeah I only did it twice...it's not something I go recommending to everyone but I probably wouldn't have gotten into bulk near like I did if it wasn't for this tek.
long story short, in 2012 I put all my eggs into the otto lc basket, and came up short. I quit cultivation for over 2 years because I never could get reliable results. half my cakes would mold over in the fc, the other half would push one flush then mold over. I didn't have much better success with pf-tek and making my own syringes, so my overall perception was that mush cult was just too much of a hassle.
then one fall day in 2014, I checked back in here and the first thread i read was pastys agar tek, then I immediately decided to try cult again.

Also I stabed my finger with the needle trying to get the top off. Anyone else ever done that?
Please report the results. Would be good to know if inoculating a finger works as well as inoculating a log
The person you're quoting hasn't been seen for months. What page is that post even on?
pretty sure he's doin time
