hows it ...
i posted this question in the other cult. page and i guess no one could help . I was wondering if anyone knows were i can get a humidstat . I have one in my tent that has a humidity gauge and a plug outlet on it , you can set min - max. humidity . i got it from a labotory supply store but it was 109.00 dollars plus shipping . Now i got another tent and im having problems keeping a constent humidity. if anyone knows were i can get a better deal , or perhaps make on let me know. thanx .... cheers

Try a search on google or another site like that. I was looking a month or so ago for one with no luck. Mabey you'll succeed where I failed. If you find one let me know. Do a search for it as a "hygrostat". Most of the results that come up are in countries in the uk or europe.

greenair, hydro suppliers make two models. The cheaper one would work somewhat, I think it only goes up to 80%, and that's with a +- in the 5 or 7% range. Their nicer one is about $80, and I think would be sufficient for anything other than cake parameters.

Also, do a search in advanced cult, with no time range. Some dude posted contact info for a place in kansas that has the same model that FP sells, but for like 90 bux. I guess search for humidistat, and kansas or something, i don't know, but I remember the thread. Bump it if you find it.
