Id help please, edible, active or poisonous...
Habitat: Grass,soil in Victoria,BC,Canada Gills: Golden brown Stem: Golden brown - Dark brown Cap:3/4 inch in diameter and whitish( maybe sundried?)it kind of flips upwards. Bruising: looks like it bruises just a bit darker if any bruising Scent: That mushroom smell, but faint

if its a pan the print should be black.

Not active, probably not edible, possibly poisonous, but most likely unknown. Looks kind of like it could be a conocybe, inocybe, or even terrestrial agrocybe... one of the LBM containing genera.

Thanks a lot guys, I have identified it as most likely a Conocybe Tenera please post if you think i'm correct. Thanks for the posts by the way.

I thought Conocybe when I first saw it, and spore print is consistent.

Not all panaleous print black. The active mushroom Panaleous Subbalteatus prints jet black. Pan foes print brown. My guess is pan foe, inactive.
