I just recently smoked for the first time in over a year (It was fun) . I used to smoke heavily everyday, and needless to say, that eventually took its toll on me. Back then all my friends smoked weed heavily and sence they were always with me I got into the habit of smoking just because it was there and because there was nothing else to do (or so it seemed).

I eventually had to remove myself from that situation because I knew that, that would be the only way I could easily quit smoking. I quit cold turkey though and didin't have any withdraws either, besides depression, but I think that was due more to the fact that I was going through alot of shit and just needed solitude, which my friends coudin't understand, which made it worse, but anyways.... Just do what you feel is right and remember..... Ride the Snake...... =) Peace

It's not possible to become physically "addicted" to hallucinagens. You can become "psychologically addicted" though. Usually this develops because the pot substitutes for some "coping skill" and makes you "feel better". When you realize you feel better when you smoke, you start using every time you feel something unpleasant.

I stopped using weed because it slowed my mind and increases my risk of certain health problems.

My advise----stop using for two months and use other ways of coping...

Try it! You may feel better..........but it will be tough to stop.... especially at first.
