Azures are not cubensis so don't expect the spores to germinate and become visible in a mere 4 days. This is a temperate species that grows slower and at lower temperatures. Expect everything to take twice as long as what you are used to with cubensis. Also, don't expect to get fruits indoors, especially off of bran cakes.

One thanks, I knew I cant fruit from bran...My plans are the cakes, then sliced laid in a tub wet cardboard , then two year old pine shavings from a planer One pan was going into a dedicated fridge with a grow light. The other one to starta outdoor bed . I have researched this species alot so I have a idea of what to do just no actual experience. I thought the bran would be good due to high cellulose. I was worried that they wouldnt sprout at all on it though. I was hoping someone with some experience would give me a shout out........My info said that I should see a inoculation site at 5 days... I was worried I messed up.....

good luck with your project, and remember that azures are fickle creatures. some people say azures indoor are impossible but i think that it is just very difficult. again, wishing you much success.

I pick azures, they in my book are the most pretty mushroom of all psilocybes cant wait till sept-oct when the flying saucers visit astoria. This year i got approx. 1 1/4 lbs. dry of azures. Ive beeen pickin up there in Astoria for 2 years now and have found some prime Azurescen patches, but i can say there very different HIGH than cubensis(very energetic and strange visuals) :) AZUREScens 1.78% psilocybin WOW!
