Will too much humidity cause stalled growth / fatass fruits? I broke out The Mushroom Cultivator to double check myself and I had been confused about humidity level needed during fruiting and was running it too high. I unplugged my bubbler and patched in straigh air lines so now I am moving quite a bit of fresh air in and hopefully I will lose some humidity through my 2 bottom vent holes. Any way back to my Question: is to much humidity the probable cause of my fat ass fruits and if it drops will the fat asses shape up and grow normally? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Yall.

I also have my rye cake sitting directly on the perlite. I have heard that this might not be the best but I figured they would be allright because all of the pins were on top about 6 inches from the bottom and the perlite. Should I put the cake on a lid or something or isnt it that important. This is my only chance at shrooms in the near future and I am kinda paranoid about opening my tank and possibly getting contams. Are they doomed to remain fat asses or can they grow normally if I fix the conditions?

In the last day or so I have seen no growth at all. How long without growth before you know its an abort? Ive heard black caps but these had almost black caps even while they were growing nicely.

If they look like these and have soft caps, then they are aborts.

Shit they all look like that. So much for that flush haha. Would too much humidity cause them all to abort? I need a pro-life cake all Ive gotten is 2 flushes of aborts. 1 trip per flush is pretty weak but at least it keeps me humble.
