average yield per cake/flush

Hi I was just wondering out of everyones experiences what the average weight wet or dry per flush of a single cake. or total weight produced per cake on avergae .AFOAF is using the internal resivour tek , just curious.

Well, when my friend's cats' sister's roommate's former cousin by marraige tried to fruit cakes straight up in an aquarium, no resivor for his first time. He got somewhere in the neighboorhood of 70g Wet or so from 2 flushes. however with a little care and experience you can get your yield up using casing, etc. alot of it (from 2 runs of experience) seems to be just giving the happy little fungi exactly what they want. When your letting the mycelium work its way through the casing its important to keep it dark otherwise some parts will pin before other parts and the mycelium gets a bit confused as to what it should be doing.

By keeping the everything in the dark 24 hours a day one runs the high risk of produceing gray mold. Gray mold can grow over top of the myceium thus sufocateing it. Gray mold usally grows in the dark. I advise against doing that.

Way good advice MrB. my casing did just that and i only have two shrooms and thats it, it has stopped growing despite misting and fanning. i gave up on it.
