What ratio of peroxide/ water is needed to sterili

I know its cheap but I am going through a lot of it and I want to know how much is needed just to keep tap water sterile. Even under a dollar a bottle it still ads up and I dont want to be wasting.

I'm pretty sure it a 1/2 cup of h2o2 to 4 cups of water, maybe a cup of h202 to 4 cups, i'll check up later and verify it.

just use tap water, if your that picky you can fill a couple of gallon jugs with tap water and let them sit for 24 hours
