unsure of cure for contams

i used to work at a place that grew mushrooms we had this stuff that looked kinda like salt rocks and we would spred over places that had trich and it would kill it does anyone know what this stuff is? we would also use it for cobweb and it seemed to work wonders when we used it. Im thinking about getting a job there again just to learn all the good things they used. The place was called creekside mushrooms and we were not aloud to tell people the tecnecs we used because of other companys we also had a contam called dacks and there was stuff we put on them to kill it too i wish i would have paid more attention but i never thought i was gonna need to know this stuff back then

Mushroom farms use straight salt on trich. and other contams
