Time table Q.
    #519233 - 01/13/02 10:37 AM (14 years, 10 months ago)

How long does it normaly take a pin to get to full picking size? I have had pins for a few days now and they are getting bigger like fat little bowling pins ( a few are just completely round) but I have seen no upward /outward growth. I just stepped up to a larger air pump run through a peroxide bubbler in an attempt to increase air exchange while maintaining humidity. To be honest though I think both of these factors were alright to begin with. Temps have been in the mid to low 70's. They are P.C. Equadors if that matters and there are about 2 dozen of the little guys (and a lot more soon to be pins) on my last surviveing cake. Any comments or info would be appreciated. :)

From initial pinning to veil tearing takes on average 6-8 days in my experience.

Hope that helps, peace.

Thanks Blazer. Still no signs of outward growth just getting fatter. Are these aborts?
