Yellow Myceluim????

I have yellow shit where i inculated. I was told its myceluim and just to wait it out. What do u think?

it can't hurt to wait...but if it stays yellow as it grows it is probably not mycelium.

I had the same thing happen with an edible species from a liquid culture isolate. It turned yellowish, but on the edges where the mycelium was expanding, it looked like regular mycelium. The species that I was growing stains yellow, so I just thought the mycelium was just stressed from temperature fluctuations, but it turned out to be another fungus growing with the desired mycelium.

Im having this slight "yellowing" problem too
The mycelium started out white, then when i uncovered it, about 3 days passed, and it turned this yellowish/beige color.
Might this be some sort of shock from uncovering and putting in incubator w/ light?

if it's yellow mold, you might be lucky. but if it's yellow stains, then bacteria.
