I heard an analogy of our connection with Creation and its association with the ego recently...goes something like this... We are an acorn on a tree. The tree provides us with everything we need to identify with the world. Eventually.... we fall free from the tree and land on the ground. Our shell (ego) protects us from outside influence and provides us with an illusionary world in which we think of oursevles as individual. We believe we are seperate from the tree from which we fell. Inside us contains all the knowledge to make another tree....but we are not consciously aware of. After time, we awaken to the codes that are deep inside of us and become one with the Earth. Realizing our connection with Creation, and All That Is.... we surrender ourselves to the way of the Universe and blossom into a magnificent creation that contains all the knowledge of the previous and the after. Anyways...thats not exactly how it went but you get the idea.... sorry if I fucked it up

That is a sweet analogy. It means that we are "god seeds". In a way. I like it.

Those were two very good analogys Shoomism. You're very wise. Very "turned on" as they used to say in the 60's.

I like the concept that Hermetic filosofy gives. "God is mind, the universe is mental" We are just a dream of God !

As much as I disagree with most of your threads Shroomism I really like this one. You would probably be an interesting person to have around for stoner/tripping discussions. Just thought I'd add my three and two thirds cents. Peace

There is this place in West Virginia I go to about twice a year... It's called Sunshine Daydreams... about 50 acres of land on top of a mountain. They have gatherings there every other week or so during the spring and summer....usually lasts for a weekend....jam bands like Fat Apple play there a lot...they start playing Friday night and play until Saturday morning. People come from all over the US to camp out and enjoy a common bond. It's absolutely beautiful... I've had some of my most memorable experiences there.. You can see literally millions of stars...with vivid clarity. Hundreds of acres of land to explore...and a symetrical woods. If any of you can escape for a weekend this spring or summer, I guarantee it will be an experience you wont soon forget. Come to let go and stand in awe of the wonders of Creation. Anyways....hope to see some of you guys there this year http://www.sunshinedreams.com Love and Light

I would definantely be down for a gathering. I feel a very strong pull, or force bringing us like minded humans together. Especially Shroomism. We think eerily alike.

I've gone through alot of theological beliefs, and I think I've come to the same conclusions as Leary, your brain is god. There is no other way to explain things. I'de be so down for a trip, the best way to trip is by having a theological/philisophical discussion with intelligent people. Becuase thery are all too rare nowadays, most people are stupid and either don't care about anything other than their daily lives, or are just to stupid to even ponder things beyond it.

You can see literally millions of stars No, not literally. Perhaps poetically. In an unobstructed view on a clear night in the northern hemisphere, a person with normal unaided vision can see about 6000 individual stars.
