It is impossible to ID dried mushrooms just by looking at pictures on a computer screen. All any body can do is speculate. Your mushrooms should be considered poisonous.

I could take some more pictures if its worth it to you. I was out in San Francisco for New Years with Cheese. I was on the beach a couple days later and this dude i smoked a bowl with told me he had some boomers for sale. Said he'd cut me hell of a deal, 80 bucks for the zone. I think the man was homeless, but his eyes looked big with dialated pupils so i just assumed he was tripping on them. I only got a breif glance at the mushrooms when i was dealing with the guy, and then later was looking at them a bit more seriously. Never seen any quite like it so thought i would post it on here to see what others had to say. They've got a real weird pungent smell to them as well, kinda like your clothes smell when you are around a fire all night. Anyways, these mushrooms are funky, and with all the negative advice i will shortly pitch these. Thanks for everyone looking out, i appreciate the advise. Had to get bunk drugs sooner or later i guess, 80$?? What the hell is money anyways ? BTW it wasnt my camera i used. If you are seriously interested, i can figure out how to get more pictures on the site.

What confuses me is who the hell takes the time and effort to obtain some shrooms and dry them out and weigh them up, if they're not the real deal?
Lesson: Dont buy shrooms off dodgy homeless looking people you don't know.

If your interest in mycology extends beyond taking psychoactive mushrooms even slightly, I would highly recommend placing them in a jar, clearly label them as unknown and potentially poisonous. A visual reference for future encounters you may have with dry fungus can?t be such a bad thing. Maybe you could compare them with known mushrooms that are toxic. Expanding your mind needn?t be limited to the realms of consciousness induced by psychedelics. Having jars of unknown poisonous mushrooms floating around you pad will make you seem like a really cool wing nut mad scientist. Just don?t eat them and keep them away from dopey humans, children, and beloved animals.

yeah, really I would say perhaps it would make you more of a dingbat. mad scientists should have some ACTIVE mushrooms kicking around. as well as some crazy blueprints and tons of active experiments. some taxidermy and ethnic masks/statuettes cant hurt

dont take my word for it... but ive had some gold caps with no blueing at all. dark brown copperish caps just like that. the stems were skinnier, but they were smaller.
just my opinion. kinda sketchy tho.
