I think there may be something wrong with me 
I just realized that I've been sitting here, happily enjoying the sound of the dishwasher, with this everything is right in the world feeling, because of its comforting little whirl noise as it cleans my dishes, I can also here the hum of the dryer downstairs drying my clothes....I'm finding comfort in this as well.....as a matter of fact, I've been awake for about an hour and have tidy'd the house, done laundry and the dishes, while making coffee and posting
I do this all the time. Actually, it occured to me one night at like 1am as I was cleaning the kitchen. I actually *like* cleaning. Like I wouldn't say I'm a neatfreak, theres dust, I haven't vacumed (yet), there are a few things out of place.....but when I wake up and before I go to sleep I tidy up. I do this at other peoples houses too, its automatic, I just do it. For example, the second KOTT left me alone in his house I did his dishes (and he's a clean guy). I've done this at Bom's too, and I do it at my friend Ally's ALL the time.

you're more than welcome to come over here and clean 
two of my roomates never clean, unless they are pestered for a week straight and finally forced with threats of violence. one of them has a girlfriend, though, who is always cleaning up after him, so i guess that is ok. myself, i definitely don't like cleaning, but i do like things to be fairly clean (there's a difference, of course, between things being cluttered and things being dirty - the former doesn't really bother me). i always just get really high before i clean, and listen to loud music - then i find i don't notice so much what i'm doing

That's what I used to do when I lived with my mom. That house would shine for about a day. Then the animals shed every-fucking-where and it was unclean again.

Tren, I can't do piles of other peoples clutter, cuz I don't know where you want that stuff, general cleaning, you know I'd be on it.

Yeah on second thought, you might just mess up my system of ordered-chaos
For instance I know my needle-nose pliers are in the pile with my CD player and new books. If they weren't there, I'd be lost.

I clean when I'm upset. Normally I'm a pretty neat person though unless I come home too tired to do much besides make food and pass out.

Hrm, that's a good habit you have there.
Myself I love a clean house, but I hardly ever remember to make my home into a clean one, the dust just builds up so fast here, it's daunting.

I really enjoy cleaning actually. There's something comforting about coming home from work or class when no one else is home, and starting dinner and cleaning up a bit while playing some good tunes, puts me in a good mood. Which is odd because I am one disorganized motherfucker that thrives in chaos. But I like trying to make my house a home, and I like it to be a bit of a sanctuary - even if my paperwork and files and mail are just completely disastrous in terms of organization and sorting.
One of my favorite indulgences is coming home, having a glass of wine or a beer, smoking a little weed, and doing the dishes  - but even sober, there's something strangely tranquil about it all.
Now, if I'm on adderall, I am a domestic goddess. I love baking, despite not really being able to eat anything much on it. And my cleaning can get a bit manic. Hell, off of adderall my cleaning can get a bit manic.
My car currently looks like this, though...
