long grain brown rice and purina dog chow

i was reading that if you take purina dog chow broth and use it as a water substitute it can make your cakes flush more and longer. would it possibly work to take a cup of dog food and put it in the foot end of a nylon and tie it off like a tea bag and simmer the brown rice in a big pot with the dog food until the rice is ready? i wanted to try this...

to put into a one pint or quart jar and use as a cake of grain to fruit p. cubensis.

since when did you simmer rice?all you gotta do it grind the rice up or go buy brown rice flour also known as "BRF"

I've found that simmering rice is a good way to hydrate it for sclerotia formation. It might work for PF too, you could do away with the verm but I don't know if that would adversely affect moisture retention... "My cakes are shrinking!!!"
