Casing After First Flush?

This is my first time growing and I want to make the best of it. I have 6 one pint jars almost done. I want to get the most out of the experiment but I dont want to fuck up. I was thinking about puting them in the terrarium as cakes and then if all goes well try casing them after the first flush. Where should I go for the the best casing method... Im not exactly keen on all the details.
