a few questions

ok i have just a few questions, i have found mixed answers in my searchs
1)i have read different teks about using the top oven rack as a work space for the substrate if oven is heated to 200 to help against contaimination--is this a good way to help prevent it?
2)if so i thought spores were real funny to heat
3)do i need to sterlize the vermiculite and the brf by baking before i put in jars
4)once i open a spore syriange -how do i store it?must i use it all at onece or can i save half of it?

1) Using either the oven door or oven rack will help. 2) You use a large plate in which to set your syringes on, so they never come in contact with the really hot temps. 3) No, heres a Boiling Method. Yes you can save half used syringes in a zip lock in the fridge.

I never use the oven method, the air has proven itself to be clean to me. But if you are worried maybe your air is dirtier, use the oven but maybe not quite so hot.

Mix your substrate together, fill your jars THEN sterilize, jars, substrate and all.
