Weyerbacher Raspberry Imperial Stout
    #5171918 - 01/12/06 12:20 PM (18 years, 5 months ago)

God damn. Just got myself a 6 pack of this stuff, and it exceeded my memory of how good it was. It's like coco-butter with slight raspberry flavor to it. Weyerbacher is among my favorite micro-breweries, if not my favorite. I highly recommend this beer.

Wish I had a picture of the actual beer, cause it's a nice dark beer, with a crimson tint to it. The label will have to do.

The very nature of experience is ineffable; it transcends cognitive thought and intellectualized analysis. To be without experience is to be without an emotional knowledge of what the experience translates into. The desire for the understanding of what life is made of is the motivation that drives us all. Without it, in fear of the experiences what life can hold is among the greatest contradictions; to live in fear of death while not being alive.

Mmmm sounds good!

Acid doesn't give you truths; it builds machines that push the envelope of perception. Whatever revelations came to me then have dissolved like skywriting. All I really know is that those few years saddled me with a faith in the redemptive potential of the imagination which, however flat, stale and unprofitable the world seems to me now, I cannot for the life of me shake.

Belgium beers are often excellent, from my experience.

I also had a Samuel Smiths Oatmeal Stout recently, which was also awesome. A good beer reminds you how crappy most beer is.
