Haha hey buddy!  Im using the same exact container!  Except mine is translucent green, i put a 4 foot flourie over it.

Mine is able to hold about 3 average sizes casings, Im using a vics vap in thar with a giant slide of glass.  Works quite well, i even put a water pump so i can just regulate the water in the tub over and over, And since its steamed its sterilized, cool eh?

The only potential problem I see is incubating the casings in the TiT. Colonizing h/poo generates alot of heat on it's own. I'd recommend monitoring the internal temp of the substrate during incubation and adjust the fish tank heaters accordingly to avoid cooking your myc.

Other than that, it looks like you did your homework and I wish you the best of luck! :mushroom2:

I think your casing layer is way too thick. If there is one thing I've learned in my cultivating endeavors is having an excessively thick casing layer inhibits a good pin set. I never use more than 1/4"-1/2", ever. I know some of the veterans around here will concur with this, some won't. Try one with a thinner casing layer and one with a thicker layer and see what works for you.

In my experience though, the thicker the casing layer the harder it is for fresh air to reach the fruiting substrate.

I have heard that while a coolmist is an excellent source of Fresh Air Exchange [FAE], sometimes they won't raise the humidity quite high enough (which I'm sure is dependent on the individual humidifiers as well as the avg Relative Humidity [RH] of your region). If you find that this is the case for you, you could look into getting an Ultrasonic that'll run on like a 12/12 schedule with the lighting while you're initiating pin. Or you could also consider putting a bit of wet perlite on the bottom of your container. I would advise setting up your system a couple of days ahead of time so that you can test out the coolmist and see if it will be adequate. Good luck.
