Foaf is thining about tossing her light source out and just using the normal light from the sealing fixtures . Are little frainds dont need florsent lights do they ?? Will Any light source be alright ?? Trying to simplfy the teraium . Thanx

Yeah, mushrooms only need a few miliseconds of light from the blue spectrum a day. So.... you can use practically any light for a few minutes a day and you'll be ok.

Light is mostly only used to show the mushroom which direction to grow in. It doesn't need it for any kind of photosynthesis process that plants may need.
