TiT Question Mod
    #5152644 - 01/07/06 11:03 PM (18 years, 1 month ago)

I basically want to automate everything that i do when it concerns edible mushrooms and such...like making an environment gauge (not sure if that the correct verbiage) basically what i want is a heating element like a fish tank heater and a gauge that will measure temps and i want to set it at lets say 80 f so if the temp drops to lets say 79 the heater will kick on until it is at 80 and then shut off basically so i can get a constant temp so they will colonize faster.

If any of that makes sense at all.How would i do this sugjestions?

thanks in advance for the replies.

um, well, go buy a fish tank heater with a thermostat.  they pretty much do everything you're looking to do

u can get a thermostat plug to plug the heater in and use thatin the air because the air temp varies more than the water but 1 or 2 degrees is inevitable a therm will never stay that constant unless you want to buy a lab incubator
