To me, personally, I would toss the cakes, its hard to say without seeing it in person (good pics btw thought)but that miscoloration looks bad and most likely has a network that extends much further than you can see which means that not only could your current shrooms be contaminated but future shrooms as well. Then again it could be something as simple as bruising but im fairly certain it isn't. Overall I would say definitely seperate that cake from the rest try not to contaminate any of your workspace and if u want to leave it somewhere isolated to see what comes of it, it couldn't hurt. Either way good luck!

Yeah That too possible a sign of early contamination? definitely possible and if so that contamination is a lot worse than what meets the eye, perhaps breaking ur cake open to take a look at the inside- I suspect it will b all green/blue on the inside- Good luck shroomer

The cake is thirsty, not contaminated. If you're worried about the pins aborting, you can insert a drinking straw in the center of the cake. Use the drinking straw as a water resevoir. Simply keep the straw full of water with a syringe and that should keep it hydrated. Cut the straw in half at an angle so it can easily be inserted. Next time, set the cake on some moistened vermiculite to keep it hydrated well.
