Well that sounds like a beautiful flush. Nothing like a pile of 9-12 inch mushrooms :smile:
I"m curious were you still seeing condensation on the walls? A lot....a little ? Chance are if its been sitting that long the compost may need a heavy misting after after the first flush, and light mistings once a day on the walls as described.

The fan for drying will work fine...or Enters suggestion. Do you have a Fry's Electronics anywhere nearbye...? They have a variety of digital scales.

theres condensation on the walls still...not as much as it was during the first flush but a decent amount..when u say misting are u talking about the outside of the box or opening the box and spraying the inside? i got a digital scale for 65 online. hey ryche will db be continuing distributing their products after they fix the grain problem? thanks

I meant the inside walls of the box...:) If there is still a good amount of condensation going on then let it go a bit longer...but it will will not hurt to mist it to prevent it from drying out to soon.

As for the future of the DB kits... that one is stil up in the air. Hopefully I can persuade him to using birdseed instead of grain and hopefully he will get his act together and not let a mess develop like this again.
DB said he sent more orders out saturday, and the last of them should go out monday.

its been like 4 days since someone picked the first flush..there were small pine when the first flush were picked but those dont seemto have grown significantly..is it supposed to take a lot longer for the second flush to come in? the compost does look a little dry but im not sure if thats the problem..any advice??thanks
