 Laziness pissing me off

my friend and I shroomed again this weekend (this was like my 8th time maybe more?) anyway, we ate them, and by 30 minutes i couldnt stop laughing, obviously normal, so it seemed all good, but by the peak my body was truly SO GODDAM LAZY and my mind was too that I couldn't deal with it ... it was a fairly small dose and the trip itself wasn't like a bad trip per se but the laziness completely killed any happiness or enjoyment i could have had, and was just pissing me off beyond belief. i was totally uncomfortable and could BARELY move or try to think, it almost hurt ...
anyway the entire time i was beyond uncomfortable, just wanting the trip to be over so bad ...
ive had shrooms which were uppity but this strain apparently just fucked with me and made me want to fall asleep horribly.
i was wondering if it is safe to mix dexedrine or ritalin or some sort of stimulant with mushies in order to stay uppity ...
any thoughts?
or any suggestions?

All I have to say is that you have balls to trip again so soon after your last time :)
I think the laziness (both in body and mind) has a lot to do with your setting rather than anything that needs chemical modification. Were you bored that day or have you been feeling apathetic lately? Maybe you're just bored of shrooms and tripping doesn't excite you as much anymore. I've always felt shrooming to be stimulating and I've never felt lazy but that could be because it hasn't lost its novelty yet.

I've had this happen before... I found that it was my body telling me to slow down, close my eyes and meditate. So, I did and I had an awesome time....

Yeah, I thought you were through with shrooms. I hope you didn't do it at your house with your mom home again. Glad to know you took a smaller dose. I find that if I'm going into a weird "mind-space" or an oncoming feeling of a bad trip, I get alone, in a dark room. I light a candle and find a comfortable pad, like a bean-bag chair. I sit "Indian" style and stare at the candle. I focus and "hypnotize" myself into a better frame of mind. Sometimes tripping with others just isn't right for the occaision. Sometimes, just sometimes, I trip with close friends. But usually I find tripping alone to be more fulfilling. Whenever I trip, I usually dose up by myself on saturday evening and stay up till the crack of dawn. Then i sleep it off Sunday day. Afterwards, I eat a nice veggie meal and take several multi vitamin pills and drink a ton of water or tea I'm not a vegan, but it seems to help de-toxify my system if I eat a nice large salad for dinner afterwards No bread or meat or sugar...just yummy fiber and water and nutrients). I'm good to go by monday with no "hangover".

Last time I shroomed heavily, I played serious racquetball for 90 minutes!
Methinks it was your mood and / or setting.
BTW, how was the mini-gathering?

yeah, maybe you're shrooming too much. wait a while between trips, maybe you'll gain more energy that way.

This sounds wierd, but the worst amount of people to trip with in my opinion is 2.......I would rather go alone or with 3 or more people....

the first time i tripped over this past vacation three friends and i went to my dorm and i had the lazyness feeling - but not quite as you describe it. i didn't want to move at all, yet was still completely content where i was... there was definitely no shortage of thoughts running through my head either. what strain were you munching?
and btw - how are your grandma's invitros doin?

her invitros are not colonizing yet ...
anyway, I know I am not shrooming too much, I trip less than once a month, and often not nearly that. the laziness just took me by complete surprise, and having tripped very little comparatively to most people it hasn't nearly lost it's novelty yet. I think I was just bored as hell, but again the strain did the same thing to my friend, so it wasn't just me, tho he enjoyed the laziness (but he also took a lot less) ...
the mini-gathering barely worked out because TC's car broke down, so pretty much my one friend was the only one who could make it, but for what it was I had fun ...
we'll have the full gathering fairly soon.
swami i called ya but your phone was busy all morning :-( ... maybe next time ...
unless somebody tells me that it could possibly be dangerous i've just decided on taking some speed with the shrooms so as to stay UP next time.
i guess this is just why i loved acid so much more, it was intensely uppity. all well
