I know what you mean I'm excited as well, I inoculated my first brf/verm jars 4 days ago and im starting to see some of my first mycellial growth!

Nice work indeed. Your pin set looks very good in fact. I see a lot of cakes around here with the pins coming from the bottom only. Your cake being off the perlite some has probably helped with that.
Now, quit messing around with those cakes and start going bulk. You've mastered the basics and now it's time to step it up. Good luck with your future grows.

Many people on this board have difficulty getting to this stage and having a successful grow. Anyone who can grow a cake has mastered the basics, period. I'm sorry you don't agree.

consiering that many people have difficulty making it to the fruiting stage
whether it be a lack of germination, contamination or some other mysterious
issue that prevents it from making it, I'd say yeah, it doesnt take much to
master a task, maybe you are just looking at 'mastering' with a narrow view.

It was also a nice compliment... I would say the same if you have the technique sterile enough to produce cakes then stepping up to bulk is just the next step! You learned cakes, now take another step, you'll be glad you did! You already understand sterile technique, and have shown to able to follow the straight forward techs provided from this very informative website! GJ, GL!

No need for such a rude comment like that Azure, whether or not you agree with Wronguy being a mod. I for one, think Wronguy is very worthy of being a mod. He's always been helpful and polite to the other members here and his nice pictorial of the double tub is what helped me grow more shrooms than I know what to do with. 
I also agree with Wronguy's suggestion about stepping up to bulk. The PF tek is the stepping stone. Bulk growing is where the fun is really at!

^^Even though I haven't been active here for long, I think Wronguy is a valuable asset to the forums, and the community! He does a great job and works hard for no pay, I have been a mod at other boards and I can tell you it's a lot of work; imagine what it would be like without mods!!

Those look pretty good... for cakes that is.
I am curious why people always assume that cakes are for beginners and bulk is for experienced growers. I grew bulk my first time around, using h/poo and Agnostic's... I mean Wronguy's Double Tub tech.
Bulk I think is easier then cakes because you can just sit back and not do anything for the majority of the grow process, I pulled off bulk just fine but think I may have screwed up if I tried cakes. So in my opinion if he can pull off that with cakes he can definitely pull off growing bulk.
P.S. Wronguy was a major help for me the first time around and he was just as helpful as mod even before he was one. The shroomery should be gratefull that he is willing to come here and help us all out.

That's correct. Eatualive brought this tek to life long before I was around. My work included a detailed procedure and some needed revising based on my personal experiences.

a very smart man once gave me very similar advice. cakes are now something i make as christmas presents once a year. once you understand brf it is deffinatley time to move on. GO BULK!!!!
