My roomate has one, and I reep the benefit of the extra head. But what I want to know is how it charges? There is no metal contacts at all on the charger or the toothbrush itself. I have never seen a battery charge like this, is it a magnetic thing or what?

I don't know what that is.

Yeah, it's weird. I'm sure that the metal or whatever is right under the plastic. That's the only possibility.

Honestly, i've never cleaned mine or took any real special care of it. Still works like a charm, it's rusted over a butt load, but only on the connector part. They rock cause you just buy a new head once the old one wears out, so it doesn't even matter.
And yeah, when it runs out it sucks. I'd just keep it on the charger always if you can, that's what i did in college and it kept it nice and powerful all the time.

So you don't feel that the rust caused any decrease in it's effectiveness?

yeah my toothbrush finally arrived and it looks so crazy. I got the intellisystem and can't wait to use it. I am just waiting for it to charge.
I already gave away my oral B plaque remover so there is no going back.
