"Yes why worry about it. I am totally serious by the way."
I never worry. I choose to act or not. Worrying is a waste of time.

A warrior is tuned to survive, and he survives in the best of all possible fashions." ― Carlos Castaneda

Worrying can lead to beneficial results. Example: 1) A smoker may worry about getting cancer and decide to quit. 2) A parent may worry about their child playing with a knife and take it away, preventing any injury. etc. etc.
I fail to understand how anyone could completely cease to worry unless they don't give a damn about themselves or anyone else.

Yes, worrying shows when it's time to act. Similar to pain.

That's why I wanted him to try it. I already knew.

the zinc (cold-eez) i take say on box Homeopathic in small print and they are clinically double blind tested to decrease duration of cold. The clinical test could be off a non homeopathic product of theirs but Im pretty sure the kind I had are the regular ones.

I think the zinc levels however are not at homeopathic levels although some other ingredients are.

Zinc preparations that work are not homeopathic concentrations. There are NO proper double-blind studies showing the slightest hint of efficacy for any homeopathic treatment.
I'd love to be proven wrong, though.
To get some idea of what we're talking about, someone calculated the concentration in many homeopathic preparations is equivalent to a single drop of medicine in a ball of water the diameter of the solar system. The absurdity of this would be funny if not for the fact that so many people buy into this giant pile of bullshit.

Yes, the X2 refers to how weak the solution is. X2 is 1:100 dilution.

From the Cold-EEZE web:
Zinc gluconate glycine (ZIGG™), the active ingredient in Cold-EEZE provides 13.3 mg of ionic zinc per lozenge
and
the Recommended Dietary Allowance for zinc is 11 mg for adult men and 8 mg for adult women
http://www.coldeeze.com/safety_information/
13.3 mg is NOT a homeopathic concentration. Homeopathic concentrations of zinc are completely useless and no proper double blind study says otherwise.
Prove me wrong. I'd love that.

Does it also say X2 on it? It's only because of that that I thought it was homeopathic.

I dunno. I'm just going by what they say on their web. The pics of the packaging aren't clear enough to read it.
However, I looked through the provided links to studies. Two of four used on the order of 13mg doses, the third was just a summary and didn't say, and a fourth speculated that due to the interaction of saliva pH and the formulation tested, it was probable that:
that the formulation delivered an insignificant amount of the contained zinc as Zn(2)+.
and
This could account for the negative results of several clinical studies of this lozenge and similar formulations as treatment for the common cold.
Confirming by double-blind study that insignificant (read: homeopathic) zinc doses are not efficacious in treating colds.
