that bong is nice, but pretty simple and utilitarian.

What exactly does the "19" connection mean? Maybee I'm just not getting it . . . . Anyways, I found another dream bong. It's like a bubbler attached to a bong and the actual bowl has an ashcatcher . . .

Does anybody on here actually prefer the "shotgun" hole on the back on their bong . . . or does everybody like the standard "pull carb".

I've never actually smoked out of any bong other than a pull carb, but it seems like the shot gun hole would be easier to clear. But, then again I love crushed ice in the bong and maybee the shotgun wouldn't give you as cool of a hit?

I prefer the shotgun hole, to be honest. None of the ghetto bongs I have ever made would ever have a pull-out bowl. It's just akward to me. And I don't like it one bit.

I'd really like to smoke out of a bong with a shotgun hole before I commit to buying one. I'd hate to spend over 50 bucks on a bong, take it home and realize I hate it. (Although I've done that before).

It's a shame you can't just "rent" a bong to try out before you buy it . . . most of my smoking buddies are the blunt or bowl type, and none are really into bongs. It takes a special kind of person to fully appericate the power of a bong. Any idiot can go "roofus blow me a shot gun". . .

dude, shotgun for sure. i went to a headshop a few weeks ago, and then i noticed none of their bongs had that nice little thumb hole. i asked if they had any and they said no.
and out the door i went  :blush:

The shot gun hole is a hole is the side of the bong . . . the pull carb is where you have to pull the bowl out to clear it :laugh:

people out here refer the "hole" as a carb and a pull carb is refered to as a slide. i own a blue dot bong just like e-chode but its not a beaker bottom. i got mine for 180. and i used to have a 340 dollar roor my parents got me but it broke :frown: but this blue dot has exceeded my epectations of it even tho i dont smoke anymore. 2 months sober!

the 19mm size joint refeers to the diamiter of the steam/bowl. Standard usa sizes are something like 9mm 12mm 16mm. Standard usa glass on glass sizes are 99% of the time 14.5mm. German glass on glass starts at 14.5mm,18.8mm,19mm,21mm. Mind you that 18.8 should be big enough to fit most poeples thumb. This is a most awsome feture of the glass on glass bongs. The biggest I ever seen on a standerd pull carb was probly close to 18mm it was called SkyGlass. I hate how on american bongs even the big 12mm always get cloged after like a 1/2oz or two of smokeing. I smoke about 3/4's of a oz every two weeks me and my girl freind that is and it is nearly impossible to clog a 18.8mm joint. If you have on of those protractors or what ever thos math kids had in school that can draw a perfect circle then make one that is 9mm and that is standard usa size. then draw one that is 18.8. and compare. Since we now live in the future there should be a program that dose that for you.

I had been using this bad boy for awhile, it eventually was knocked over and the glass around the down stem broke, but its bar none the best bong ive had the pleasure of using.
