how long can you wait after sterlizing 1pt jars of hole grain rye before you incoulate them?

5-8 hours at LEAST...give it an entire day to be safe. then you're good to go. and remember, be generous with whole pint inoculations. they'll take forever to colonize otherwise. good luck.

If the quiestion is, how long can you wait after sterlizing , then the answer is theoreticaly till the end of days if the jars are completely sterilized and sealed against evaporation.
