Are the filter discs from fungi perfecti differnt than mycolgy market ones? The myco market's are also good down to 3 micron and are synthetic. the prices are very different.

The mushroom magic filters are thinner but seem to be thick enough. I'd recommend them over the fungi perfecti ones due to the price.

the FP ones of course..
what the first reply said.. :P
think.. a synthetic fiber filter disc specifically for this purpose, or a paper filter not intended for this use..... :P

As for the paper shredder, any shreddre like what we have at work would tear that to nothingness.. you can shred whole proposeals in one go (100 pg +)..
im not knocking your product, well not much.. just dont try to put it on par with real filter disks..
for the money, they should be great performance for the dollar..

filter discs are pointless. Keflar works great, and is hella cheap. you can get it at home depot, they use it for walls or insulatin or something. I've never had any contaim yet useing it
