Engrish is a slang term which, in its purest form, refers to poor-quality attempts by Japanese writers to create English words and phrases; whether in mistranslation of an original Japanese language text, or in an attempt to create an original text in the English language.

I like to use the quiet smile in that situation.

To me it depends on the person I'm trying to convey the ideas to, there are people that I can just let words fall out of my mouth without even stringing thoughts together and they understand what I'm trying to say. Sometimes I only get a word or two out. Other people I don't even need to speak, they read my thoughts, they can tell by the look in my eyes and they can share my dreams. If I really can't find the words, to me it means I'm not ready to say it out loud, so I write it down for later.

but how do i write down that which i cant put words to?

I used to have similar difficulties expressing my thoughts.

The key for me is to relax, try to break down what I have to say into small hunks, and to work on each hunk individually.

Sitting around campfires talking to complete strangers while smoking and drinking has been the perfect therapy for me. Festival therapy, I call it.

I have a book thingy, but like I write on anything and then just stick it all there....

I think there is merit in all the reading that people are suggesting as well, I read an awful lot.

I think he's right. Sometimes you think you have this grand idea, but when you try to explain it to someone you realize that it's very fleeting and lacking in any sort of detail. If you profoundly can't explain it then you probably dont understand it yourself.
