heat problem

what can i use that's small and affordable to keep my shrooms at a good temperature for colonizing and then fruiting my house usually never gets hotter than 70 and i dont have anything that i can use that wont be obvious to what im doing in my closet, any help would be appreciated, thanks

A small rubbermaid with a submergable fishtank heater. Set the water to 84degrees and put the jars in there. Have the water come up 1/4 to 1/2 of the jars.
Or you can go for the tradition Mushroom Incubator just make it a little smaller.

what can i do to keep the heat up when i put the jars in a terrarium?

Unless your house is abnormally cold... you shouldnt need to heat your fruiting chamber. They will fruit happilly at room temperature (72 degrees) If your house is below 70, conisder a light or something that will provide some extra heat.

you don't need to much heat for fruiting. but if it is abnormally cold(-shroomism), you could also try a fish tank heater in a jar of water. and if humidity is to high with this, lightly put foil over the top of the jar.
