recently i have received a rather large amount of christmas cash.. i like to think of it as a.. lets say.. a grant.. to my fungus growing endevors.. so.. as money is no object (relatively) heres what i plan to get.. i would appreciate any other ideas! my setup does, however, have to be kept fairly low-profile.. (in a closet, in a 20 gal fish tank) so keep ideas in that range!

so far...
thermometer/hydrogemeter from radio shack

heating pad

pressure cooker

hepa filter unit


what else should i get! what else would you get?

Mabey spores? If your just starting ask around and you'll find a good begginer strain.

use some of your money to provide chinese food and coffee for the next two weeks while you sit and read this site and the teks, and then you wont have to ask questions that have been answered 1124235252 times.

i have no idea how much a pressure cooker is, but im asuming pretty pricey, i imagine you already have a lided pot, i highly suggest you use this instead because my jars work fine without a pressure cooker

6 quarts can go for $30 or less.

Buy the best of everything.
Buy 2 .....55 gallon or 45 gallon Aquariums....with hoods
Buy a 21.5 quart All American Pressure Cooker.
Buy 2 Rubbermaid Clear See thru Containers.
Buy 2.... 50 watt submersible aquarium heaters.
Buy 2...aquarium air pumps or one that has 2 outlets.
Buy 2 air stones.
Buy 2 packages of air hose.
Buy 4 square feet of Perilite.
Buy 2 to 4 bags of Verm.
Buy 4 cases of 1/2 pint jars.....wide mouth.
Buy a 5 lb. bag of Brown Rice.
Buy a Burr Coffee Grinder.
Buy 20.....10cc or 20cc syringes.
Buy 4 Thermo-Hygrometers.....Radio Shack model # 63-1031
Buy a large stainless steel mixing bowl.
Buy a set of stainless steel measuring cups.
Buy 4 baby food jars.
Buy a food dehydrator....take the heating element out.
Buy spore syringes from an over priced Vender!!!!
After all you have the funds....you said so.
