Lmao, I played that demo for that game at least 50 or more times. I always tried to kill the caddy after I beat the mission by placing an assload of mines under the bridge. God damn that game was sweet.

I never got the chance to play fallout 2. Fallout 1 was good stuff. Sigh I wish they still made good games.

Yea, but what about any other good games? Pretty much the only game I ever play anymore it seems like is Day of Defeat: Source. Everyother game coming out is just garbage IMHO. Too much emphasis is placed on graphics, its like wtf, the main part about a game is actually playing it, not looking at the cool scenery/models. If I wanted to see something with massive amounts of detail and rediculous textures, I would look at something in the real world. /end_rant

I work in the gaming industry. The games that have come out lately sicken me. Quake 4? More like Doom 3.5. Ugh to think the wonderful quake series turned into that crap.

Elder Scrolls 4 will be good I am sure. I am very disappointed that the game has been delayed 6 months with no reason given to the gaming community.
Where are the Zelda's? Old school final fantasies? Metroids? Quake 1&2s? Fallouts, Diablos, blah, blah. Half life 2 was very cool but that is one game out of a hundred.

Definately my favorite game, was one of the first computer games I remember playing. Also has some of the best music i've ever heard, makes me wish Bullmark would have kept going with it. They were the group that did the music for the game, just in case anyone is wondering.
Too bad Interstate '82 wasn't as good, although some of those voice overs are still just as funny, if not more so. There's still a small group that plays online if anyone is interested, here's the website. It's kind of finicky, but possible to run on XP. Still worth playing in my opinion... at least I haven't gotten tired of it yet.

Parallel the gaming industry to the music industry for a moment.
In this scenario, gaming is in the equivalent of the late 70's or early 80's. Ponder on that and the suck factor will start to make some sense.
Lots of amusing but mediocre pop crap going on, and soulless corporate domination. et cetera
