Black stuff on mushrooms

I am growing P. Cubensis mushrooms (not sure exactly what type). Anyways, i notice after the caps open there was some black stuff on top of the cap that rubs off..... What is this? Sorry i am unable to provide photos

Just spores that are falling, being blown around etc. Wont hurt anything except a second flush. I wash mine before I dry them.

dont handle the wet shrooms too much, the seep into the skin and WAM.

Dropping spores shouldnt have anyhing to do with the second or third fulsh. Spores are used to grow mycelium, and mycelium is used to grow shrooms. Now unless they act as a fertilizer or trigger of some sort, I dont see how they would have anything to do with increasing additional flushes.

Just an idea.
